The multiline thread doesn't work for a mobile interface.
What we really need to see from that line is where all do other thread emerge and how do i get back to where i started from

These interactions between and across different institutions and nation states (dineshans) carry forward the concept of a corpus of consent, manufactured or elected, through computer mediated spaces

the instagram user @sadgurlmemez, describes attributes of being dineshanal at a more local and personal level, where one aspect of it is curatorial in nature, where one performs many different aspects of themselves, in public computer mediated spaces, creating the data trail leading all the way here

the interaction of institutions with, for or against individuals leverages user-generated content -eg. click-farms and behaviors of collusion. Dineshanal behaviors then lead to state sponsored surveillance, internet shutdowns and military coups

[this data goes on to]... larger institutions, that use and create data and services around itself and for individuals. Depicted are ethical hackers who typically look at possible loopholes or aberrations in privacy, access protocols, and malicious institutional actions

For individual to individual interactions, where our devices allow for mediated experiences... there were several simpler opportunities of violating somebody’s notion of private access to their data in public spaces and personal details. A conversation becomes data

I have been thinking about this for a while. Bluesky's primary novel affordance is its ability to bulk subscribe and bulk block. This would be considered botlike activity elsewhere. But it is an interesting form of a magnetic interface. I am not sure this affordance is a good idea yet

I had been thinking of the fediverse for a while (activitypub in general) and started mulling over the metaphor of the sea.
Your identity is a ship that docks to different ports, The maps help orient you to other landmasses and people, the stars give you directional information.

BIIIF (Build IIIF) : This method seeks to use folder hierarchy as a way to quickly organise the collection and generate the manifests. The way it does this is to use a naming convention as a symbol of the various resource types defined in the Presentation API

Resource Types: the manifest.json is a small part of the metadata defining the structure of the collection

The image server: The traditional IIIF image server is a dynamically serving images, cut up into tiles - so that they can be viewed at a high resolution. It stores the image, and an side info.json that has instructions about the nature of the image (size, resolution)
