Leaving motion smoothing on is a cry for help, just like getting bangs. You’re morally obligated to check on whoever is doing it. In some states you’re also legally required to, thanks to “mandatory reporter” laws.

I think employment contracts give leverage to punish disfavored speech - you can be fired for protected speech that makes the company look bad

Does this apply to school codes of conduct?

I don’t understand if a different line is drawn w.r.t 1A protection if it’s a public school. Could you explain?

I started watching it this past Sunday, tried to power through it, and gave up.

Get the “no evidence” into the headline! “Trump administration provides no evidence of purported weekend trade deal”

Anything less is cowardice.

First paragraph can include Besset saying they have a framework for continued talks. That’s useful and worth acknowledging, but it’s not a trade deal.

This administration will gut @npr.org funding no matter what they do, so NPR might as well err on the side of informing readers instead of this soft pedaling “critics say” nonsense.

Love the initiative to show foreign leaders that not all states are as reckless with trade partners as our current federal government!

Hated the end of the article where John Curran wants to glom on to your effort as “bipartisan” without speaking out against the existing indiscriminate tariffs 😬

That Fry’s was truly amazing! I’m a Bay Area transplant since 2004. I wish I could say I grew up with Fry’s, but that particular store stuck with me ever since I moved here
