I really can't wait until I have to write my methods chapter and talk about how Elon personally tanked my dissertation recruitment by launching several algorithmic changes the week I started recruiting. He also bought Twitter right after I submitted my IRB application. Spicy chapter forthcoming.

My "hot dissertation writing summer" turned into tepid "finish revisions on two co-authored chapters and work to survive summer," and I have no idea if I'll finish my dissertation on time. But, I drug myself to the computer this afternoon to write a few hundred words, so bird by bird.

I think my first post on bird app was about my honors history class in college, so my first post here is just to say that today is my 23rd (and potentially last) first day of school. New beginnings all around!
