I’ll keep saying this on repeat but the best antidote I’ve found to doomscrolling and despair is linking up with a mutual aid or direct action org in your area and going to do something that directly helps your neighbors who are struggling. It’s the only thing keeping me from 24/7 screaming

Anyway, go buy an indie game or two. Indie games are fantastic, and I've come across plenty of titles where I wish I could've paid more than the asking price of $5-20!
Indie devs/studios deserve and need your love now more than ever. So go give them your money!

I get WHY game prices are increasing. Production costs are going up because players wants more out of games, and companies need to offset the cost.
At the same time, the cost of living continues to rise while wages stay the same. People can't afford to purchase $80-90 games every month. 🫠
