It really is. So many people cannot differentiate the two. My brother is now an adult and has had to be his own advocate all these years. We just stay tree nut free so he’s safe with foods from my house.

Exactly this! My brother is anaphylactic to tree nuts but can eat peanut butter no problem. He basically can’t eat packaged or bakery items because we just don’t know what’s in them.
