As a kid living in Naour, Jordan in 1967 tents sprang up everywhere. It was Palestinians fleeing the Israeli killing machine. Their Arabic sounded different to me. My mom explained they were not Jordanians but they also spoke Arabic but with a Palestinian accent. 50 years later I heard these lies.
