My brother is having health issues & all of his symptoms line up perfectly with the timeline for colon cancer & I am trying not to spiral until he gets in to see the gastroenterologist for more tests
I'm worried the Canadian healthcare system will fail him. Specialist appts are difficult to get.

I am never doing hexagons for a bag ever again. Squares are superior.

I was REALLY hoping the 7.5qt Le Creuset Dutch oven in Nuit would go on sale for black Friday because I really need a bigger ditch oven, but it didn't ☹️ I could get a 7.25qt chef's oven, which is on sale, but I want the narrower base (rather than wider) and I don't love the colors 😢

My mother in law finally confirmed that she's driving down for Xmas this year, so I have until the end of November to finish this blanket I started for her last year (I'm travelling a lot in December).

I'm bulk baking some baked oats for the freezer and my brain kind of checked out halfway through assembling the pans and I forgot to divide the PB&J pan in half (PB one side, jam on the other) so that I could effectively swirl them together
So it looks like we're just about to eat a loaf pan of jam

I feel stuck and trapped and gross and a little fearful, even though I have no legitimate reason to be. But, like, legitimacy doesn't seem to matter anymore, so.
Every day is so much harder than the last.

I just spent 2 hours trying to fix one of my spreadsheets for work b/c it was returning a -0.00 value, which shouldn't be, like, possible.
So anyway, I just learned about the existence of floating point arithmetic and I'm SALTY about how much of my fucking time it just wasted.

We're trying minocycline for my rosacea to see if it has any impact on reducing the inflammation down to something that might then be more manageable via a topical medication (which is preferred b/c I can't take minocycline forever) & it is having an INTERESTING effect on the rosacea so far.

Obviously I've been away from Canada for a while now so I just now found out that Hudson's Bay is likely finally completely going under, and I can't really explain how sad that makes me.
It's not like I loved shopping there. But the Bay has been a staple in my life for, literally, ever.
