UAB is literally singled out in the NIH guidance and they go from 48.5% FNA rate to 15% just like that? Jobs will be lost and people will get sick and die. Brain drain will intensify and economies will suffer with this immoral rate slash. Higher ed & research is essential to civil society; we must 🪧

Humanities and the arts aren’t safe, science and medicine isn’t safe, and every alarm bell @ IHEs needs to be ringing extremely loudly. Stop the flood with disruption and strikes and relentlessly calling your reps.
