And if they ship you out of the country they will tell the courts that they don't have jurisdiction over you so the court can't order them to bring you back.
If you accept that non-citizens have no right to due process, you are accepting that citizens have no right to due process. All the government has to do is claim that you are not a citizen; without due process you have no chance to prove the contrary.

Today in TM enforcement PR disasters, a fun story: a Tennessee middle school that had been using the bearcats mascot and Cincinnati's "C" logo for 50 years got a C&D from Cincinnati. Xavier swooped in, authorized them to use *their* mascot, and even helped with logos, etc. bit.ly/3ZPvBJX

Troubling story behind the story: for the 2d week in a row, @npr.org's public editor Kelly McBride ran a story in which NPR staff declined to answer her questions. www.npr.org/sections/npr.... I guess that's an improvement--last week @steveinskeep.bsky.social wouldn't talk to her at all.
