Seriously? I'm an Independent and very rarely post on BlueSky anymore. Why? Because BlueSky restricts posts to the Discover tab to only those who are pre-approved by BlueSky administrators.
Worse yet, I have 350 followers and haven't seen a post or a reply from any of those followers for months.

First, I am opposed to the death penalty, but from a Hamas perspective these men were guilty of treason.
Second, the U.S. has executed 31 people in the past 9 months. I don't believe we are in a position to judge what Hamas is doing in this particular instance.

What the hell is Rick Wilson still doing on Twitter? Why are people still supporting Musk's ventures? They whine about Musk, but continue to generate revenue for Musk.

They come out because they want to be true to themselves. It is a courageous move and should be respected.

The human brain is the single most complex mechanism in the known universe. Considering all of the various differences between people, why is it so hard to believe a person feels more feminine or masculine in the wrong body? Do you think they "come out" because it makes their life easier?

Is this a joke? Engagement on BlueSky is virtually non-existent. 10% of users dominate the feed while 90% of users sit in the background unseen and unheard.
There is no reason for the average person to create a post as it will never be seen.

Engagement on BlueSky is HORRIBLE. Essentially there is NO engagement unless you fit into BlueSky's very selective algorithm. Until BlueSky fixes it they don't stand a chance of competing against FB or Twitter.

What's the solution?
Create a new tab entitled Recent Posts. Simply load the 50 most recent posts, which would give everyone a voice on the platform.
In the meantime, I will allow my account to go dormant as I am sure many others have done as well. Perhaps I will try again in a couple of months.

Over the past couple of months, the number of "active" accounts has quadrupled on BlueSky. Yet, where are the posts from all of these new accounts? Because their accounts are suppressed, they get bored and simply stop interacting with the site. This makes it appear BlueSky is growing when it isn't.

I don't believe you realize the scope of the problem. Please review my previous posts that also went unseen. If small/new accounts have little hope of having their posts seen they will quickly lose interest and stop posting.
