went to a Year 1 and a Year 6 class. Upon announcing, I could clearly hear the Year 6 class (11 and 12 year olds) cheering loudly - like they’d won a ‘real’ award. Priceless

On a positive note, no one else has caught it in the family - thanks to my portable hepa filter running full blast next to me, masking around the house, eating outside.
For someone used to running 6km 3x per week, this sucks. #covidisnotover

Most concerned for my immunocompromised daughter who is battling GB brain tumour.
Moral to the story, trust your gut, be paranoid and don’t let your guard down.

I’ve been bedridden ever since with fatigue my biggest challenge. Tested again today (day 5) using an ‘expired’ test - strong positive. Have been sleeping with my hepa on full blast and masking everywhere in my house hoping I’ve not shared it with the family

Went home. I tested using an expired RAT as I prepared for bed. My heart sank as I saw a faint line indicating I was positive for Covid. In denial, I tested again using one of my (in date) expensive 3 in 1 tests (Covid, Flu and RSV) and, sure enough a distinct positive.

Confessions of a lone masketeer…
I let my guard down.
Second Covid infection ever - caught at the beach, then likely exposed my staff and family.
I wear a P2 respirator mask everywhere indoors (outside of home) and when crowded outdoors. #covidisnotover
