On this Juneteenth, now is the time for New Jersey to repair what it broke. Black Texans waited more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation to gain their freedom, but compared to other northern states, Black New Jerseyans waited just as long.

However we disagree that "unfortunately, we have no model we can follow from McCarthyism, b/c there was no pushback."
