I’m actually glad to hear that you don’t ship your dogs like cargo! And while I’m sure I’ll find a wonderful new canine forever family member (my 10-year-old dog Jax died of cancer in October), I won’t forget Chuck!

Yes, it’s a kids book. Text is young (even pre-school), but excellent mushroom info to spark real interest. Author (Chris Baker) is nature guide in Hudson Valley and certified forager.

People who sing the Messiah at Christmastime (concert, singalong, etc) may feel otherwise. Part I of the Messiah is often called the "Christmas portion,” but when performed at Christmas, the concert usually concludes with "Hallelujah" from Part II as the finale, even though not strictly Christmas-y.
