I did it! Granted it was an easy 4-koma but I translated something for the first time in years! It’s from a series called “Chibi to Boku” (Chibi and Me) and was in a 2008 magazine called Neko Para Plus. I’ll probably pick another soon!

Please forgive my trash handwriting
A translated 4 panel comic from “Chibi and Me,” which h is written at the top of the page. Below it is a photocopied 4-panel manga with the handwritten translation on the right side. On the left are two clipart style note paper pieces outlined in bright blue with printed pink/green/blue washi tape and it is filled with messy notes, some nonsense but mostly a working copy of a translation. Below it are some takeaways from my studying. Also extremely messy and some are illegible. Title: Ahead Panel 1: a man in an untucked shirt with his tie around his forehead like a hamachi bangs on a door. - “Years Ago…”- “heeeeey, open the door!” Panel 2: a white cat with two black spots on its forehead walks toward the man, whose face is red. Panel 3. The man hugs the cat and rubs his cheek on it. Dad: “What, Chibi, you’re shut out too? Ha ha ha ha! Shall we sleep outside together?” Chibi: meoooow! Panel 4: the cat enters thru a cat door with a “bam” leaving Dad stuck outside. Dad: Ah!!!!
