I love that land use donut chart graphic! 😍
For parking specifically, PRN used ODM data to calculate that 25% of the downtown area is parking lots. parkingreform.org/parking-lot-...

But now I want to make one of those graphics with all the land use percentages (probably from Parcels again)

I think people generally agree that it's the oldest at 1737. St John's Church was close though, 1741.

I guess Agecroft might have a claim in the Theseus-ship sense, but it's not even the same design as the original

Neat to see all these photos of the same places over time

Well, the two buildings on the left side are still there, but that one on fire (1319 E Main St?) is a parking alley now

RVA Community Fridges has also been doing some great organizing, it's a model that's started taking off in recent years www.rvacommunityfridges.com

I guess all these people wore modern tuques/beanies as well... it all just feels very lovingly thought out 🥰

The Cowichan sweater from native Vancouver islanders, worn by fishermen as an outermost layer. Denim jacket from a German Jew in San Francisco, for miners and rail workers. Double knee early Carhartt pants for Michigan iron workers. Tough Chamois shirts by Leon L Bean for Maine hunters.

Just a guess, but what I really like is that this outfit seriously commits to telling a historical love story of iconic outdoor work wear across northern America and Canada in the early 20th century.

I don't understand the identity/data differences between them - do you mean because of the dns verification?

What an awkward site. It does seem to have a little more info than the old one though, so I guess it's an upgrade. 🤔

I should make a map of how much they change across the city. Mine wasn't bad, +2.4%

Streets, buildings, and addresses are the usual starting point - just click edit on the website and start tracing stuff 😁 Search the wiki if you're not sure how to tag something. (also the OSM US slack is very active and helpful)

But yeah it does feel like a lot sometimes, lol
