A family named Laidlaw lodged in my OPS, Edgar Street, Worcester, in the 1841 census and were providing #OnePlaceEntertainment in the city. Although they were only there for a few weeks they led eventful lives and one of the brothers was murdered in St Louis, Missouri in 1854! #OnePlace Wednesday

Really enjoyed the #OnePlaceStudy conference yesterday - thanks. The speakers gave me lots to think about (though not the time to do it all!) and it was well organised too. Worth my £10 membership just for that and lots more to look forward to during the year too.

Prompted by #OnePlaceWednesday I have finally applied to register the OPS I have been working on together with others. Edgar Street in Worcester is an old street near the cathedral with about 16 houses of various sizes and some fascinating residents. Some of the houses are shown in the picys below

The fact that #OnePlaceStudies is going to have its #OnePlaceWednesday event here has persuaded me to join and try it out. Still not really sure what I am doing as not used to using social media much but look forward to meeting others here soon.
