Rylan Brickson Cole Tews stars in this and he is a legend, his expressionism and attention to physical details in this film was so good and made the jokes actually land hard. I cannot recommend Hundreds of Beavers enough it was so insanely fun 3/3

..was INSANITY. This level of slapstick physical comedy was something I didn’t think existed anymore. So many hilarious bits and gags and jokes that are masterfully paced and called back throughout the film. 2/3

But because of the way David Lynch built up the seen. He dies just like that, no warning, he’s just dead. Wow.

In the real world the tension slowly building up, the sweat glistening of Dan’s brow, you can see his anxiety growing and our anxiety does as well. It gets suffocating, uncomfortable and finally when the face is revealed it’s grotesque and horrifying not just bc of the physical qualities contd.

I love horror and this film had one of the most suspenseful scenes ever and it’s not even a horror FILM. Just the tension built up from Dan explaining to Herb the dream he had and why he wanted to visit the Winkie’s and then it HAPPENS what he described begins to happen seamlessly contd.

Actually I have more to say about Mulholland Drive, just thematically it was so insane. So many genres in one film where if any other director had attempted this it would’ve been executed poorly but here not only does it work but each genre enhances the other. Contd.
