I agree and you seem nice, I’d like you! Also there is a very real chance the voting rights act gets repealed. I think hope needs to be juxtaposed with reality and the reality is very bad. We are a long ways from escaping that.

You don’t think that’s still possible in this regime? The 4th amendment protects against illegal search and seizure and I see multiple violations of that daily.

I do feel like the tide is turning and No Kings is no small part of that. Once support wanes it could fall fast - progressives need to use it as an opportunity to solve real problems, not placate the middle where nothing is accomplished.

In any other timeline this would be a 5 alarm fire and a meeting invoking the 25th Amendment would happen immediately.

Expect this to happen especially during the No Kings protest. MAGA is gonna up the ante. They haven’t gotten much violence out of showing up so someone is going to have to incite, as they did in Minneapolis. That was all MAGA.

There are a dozen stories that is true of, but this in in particular. They have moved the Overton window to accept political violence.

They did in fact vote for all of this. Several intelligent people said it loudly, Theo Vonn not understanding does not mean he did not vote for this. It does mean he votes with poor information.
