The amber wave of morning, swells in the eastern sky. A measure of fervent beauty, that i can't quantify. I stand and watch from the shadows, as the fog begins to lift. Soon the surf will reach my shore, and I will be cast adrift. Sink or swim, as this new day begins, will I remain intact? Nobody knows, but the waves still roll, so i brace for the next impact.

The soothing sounds of water, a memorable melody. Winding its way through the forest, to the arms of the open sea. The trees on its banks, whisper encouraging words. The rocks make sweet music, that rivals the birds. Soon this fresh water will dance with the sea. Its journey will end, with a new unity.

Golden rubber ribbons, tangled amongst the stones. Once part of a mighty kelp forest, now I lay all alone. Stranded above the oceans reach, the sunlight drys my supple skin. Slowly fading into the beach, shades of yellow wearing thin. Waves of time passing by, a beautiful place to say goodbye.

Day retreats beyond the horizon, gathering all daylight and color. Streaks of wild hues soar westward through the sky, painting the shoreline in amber. Dreaming of seaside summer days, not a cloud in the sky and the music of waves. Shoreline solitude, doesn't mean lonely, the coastline provides an ocean of company. From the gulls fervent call to the tides rhythmic lull, and the tree's waning creaks and groans. Just clear your mind, thrust open your eyes and you will see the language of Earth's tones.
