Everything is awful but at least I have this hat. (I made it to distract myself from The Horrors, also pardon the eyes and the breathe-rite, it’s goldenrod season and I’m really going through it right now)

All the hard parts of this years #DBCraftalong project are finished. Next I’ll wash, block, take photos, and ship her off. I probably won’t post a grand reveal until it goes live on the #DB2025 website but I may share some of the images that don’t make the final cut. Thanks again for your support💖💖

A peak at the backside. I’ve managed to get about 18 rows done since my last progress lost and thought I’d share a peek behind the curtain (or tapestry in this case). Sadly it’s taking up all my spare time so I haven’t been able to make any Watto fan art to contribute.
A crochet WIP that I have posted many times. This is from the back and features a unicorn and greenery and flowers but there are a lot of loose ends that haven’t been woven in and you can see the bobbins (balls of yarn) I’m using to crochet the price pinned to the tapestry using Bobbie pins. I’m also using the hair pins as stitch counters along the top. The same as before but up close: crochet WIP that I have posted many times. A few months ago I dreamt I was an extra in a 90s-00s Reynolds Wrap commercial and I have been eating something like this once or twice a week ever since.
A vegetarian dinner consisting of summer squash, sweet onion, cherry tomatoes, and broccoli seasoned with mushroom seasoning and chili like salt as well as melted butter and a splash of soy sauce. It is wrapped in tin foil and sitting on a Correl Spring Blossom plate that I inherited from my grandmother in law.

Took myself to breakfast at my fave local diner this morning as a birthday treat and they gave me two biscuits instead of one with my biscuits and gravy 💖 For those not familiar with the dish I’ve put a description in the alt text.
A plate of biscuits and sausage gravy and a plate that has a bowl of grits and two over easy eggs. There is a cup of coffee behind them. If you’re not familiar with biscuits and gravy it is typically one or two American style biscuits, (which are soft, round, savory bread made from flour and buttermilk and lard or butter) which are cut open and smothered in a gravy made from scrambled breakfast sausage, flour, and milk.

Roughly 1/3 completed crochet blanket which will eventually be a unicorn sitting on a mossy hill in a lilac glade. It’s currently just the hill, her feet, and her tail. Crochet WIP again but it’s the back end and it shows off some tufts of grass that I originally thought about outlining but decided against it in tbe end and I think it was the right choice.
