So Gary Neville is apparently a traitor despite employing 600 Mancunians, paying all his taxes and opening his hotel to front line workers during COVID lockdowns.

What did I miss?
I fucked up and agreed ages ago to go to an event on Thursday evening with my partner. I hadn't factored in Celtic in Europa League. Missing the game would previously been a disaster. But actually I don't give a shit. The football this season has so far been tedious.

The events in Manchester are awful, and I feel sympathy for those affected. I am unaware of the identity of the perpetrator and his motives, but like America our 24 hour news will be in a rush to create a narrative that suits their extreme cause. The enemy now is hate and those who fuel it.
