ULTRALIFE includes novel mechanics outside of just shooting baddies, like timed encounters and tracking objects. There are also unique fights with their own one-off mechanics! Boss fights for example...

On depleting an enemy's hp, it will linger for a bit. Damaging them then, will build your overkill multiplier, multiplying all overkill related incoming points.

Keep laying on the damage to maximize your score!

That last post ended up very #gamedev leaning, so I should actually show the game lol

Its called ULTRALIFE, a fast-paced railshooter with novel mechanics, wrapped in y2k/futuristic aesthetics (meant to be played with a Sinden!)
