We have DynaMed in addition to UpToDate! Each has its fans at Manx Care but we hope colleagues will try them out and tell us what you think. There are different ways to access these point of care tools, the new library display teaches you how!

June is Pride Month in commemoration of Stonewall Riots. #KDLibrary features the year in review (LGBTQ+ related news headlines and scientific breakthroughs in 2024) and new resources that are of interest to our health and social care community.

There isn't one! But we don't always make that clear.

New display is up at #KDLibrary bulletin board, featuring books on #Science & #Anti-Science. It offers food for thought amid a dangerous but growing movement that threatens scientists, research & public health institutions. Eligible users can also search for relevant e-resources with #OpenAthens.

We won't be posting any April Fools today, but it's a great time to remind you about some tips and tricks for spotting fake news.

We think this poster from IFLA is a great guide to help you think critically about the news today (and every day!)
How to spot fake news poster which encourages the reader to: consider the source, read beyond the headline, check the author, look for supporting sources, check the date, consider whether it is a joke, check your biases, and ask the experts.
