heck yeah, an Angelico match on tv! Take the Don Callis family down; we count on you.

This, but also of course it would be unfeasible. WWE is HUGE. AEW is the #2, and this is the only place TNA can hope to go for.

I highly welcome any promotion aside of WWE, but Matt Hardy saying that TNA will be #1 in 2026 would sound insane. :D #2 To me sounds unlikely, but I wanna see them try.

Es ist so schirch und es wird immer schircher. Gibt's USA abseits von Trump überhaupt noch?

probably a good move. I don't know. Man Carrying Thing? I think he's on there, and I've been following his little skits for about a year. One of my very, very, very few things I regularly look at on youtube.

...and I don't even give a hoot about the Mandalorian, GTA, or Dune 3! :D So no worries. It's about who makes things more bearable, not those meaningless little numbers the websites spit at us.

Well, engagement, even on Bluesky, is meaningless BS numbers, right? You run one of the best Bluesky accounts out there; 99% of posts people do are tolerable at best and only have to be read for made-up business reasons. Yours I actually read because they're usually of value.

Yeah. Es wird seit 2020 immer mehr zum Feiern, dass das vergangene Jahr endlich vorbei ist. Und seit 2022 sowieso. Najo. Man feiert halt. Besser als nicht feiern, nehm ich an.

Gosh, Athena is good.
December 28, 2025 at 12:32 PM
Okay, that sounds more plausible than my "by now devs hate the work on AAA games so much that they want to take themselves out of the equasion by using AI to make these boring, generic, basic big budget games."theory. :D

Neato. I hope to watch more again in 2026. AEW was the only promotion I've been following closely that year really, only dipping into WWE for PPVs because friends watch it.

Let's see in how far World's End can grab me.
December 26, 2025 at 8:28 PM
Absolutely. And whilst giving all this opportunities for storytelling, is also keeps a certain air of athletic competition (depending on to which degree the presentation puts a focus on that).

I gotta admit that I haven't followed AEW's weekly prorgam in about a month; gotta catch up it seems! 😁

Argh, just having the same issue. I was kinda hoping this was fixed by now. :D Really hard to sell relatives on Signal. To a degree it worked, but they still run whatsapp on the side...

Anyway, thanks for the info!

Yup, I fully agree there. I mean booking-wise, WWE use the Royal Rumble a bit like a new year tournament to set up a pecking order, elevate new people (in theory), start feuds, etc. As much fun as a Royal Rumble is, the gravitas of a full tournament hits different.
December 26, 2025 at 7:08 PM
Tournaments allow for great booking opportunities, and at its core and in theory, wrestling should always be basically just one big tournament, right?
December 26, 2025 at 6:56 PM
Some people joke about how there's a lot of tournaments in AEW, but I love a tournament. The original women's international tournament to this day is one of my favourites.
