Dog-mom, OU Alum, lover of horror and sci-fi movies. I’d rather be playing Stardew Valley right now.
Listening to the Thunderbirds practice for a patriotic air show tomorrow while I read about how the Supreme Court is shoving us further into autocracy is…uh…quite the dichotomy. Chef’s kiss really.

I feel like leaving one entry-level worker in the office to “hold the fort” while everyone else gets to flee a potentially deadly weather situation is a shitty thing to do. But that’s just me, the entry-level worker. I’m not okay with this.

The Monday Mystery Movie was…Fight or Flight. So freaking entertaining! Loved it! Josh Hartnett was hilarious. Why isn’t this being promoted more? I want a full Hartnett-aissance or whatever.

I continue to struggle with the fact that my coworkers are not my friends and it comes back to bite me every time. Friendly, but never friends.

Okay, so Novocaine was hilarious and fun. Jack Quaid is becoming one of my favorite actors. He balances goofy and unhinged so well.

This is just horrifically embarrassing and unhinged.
Trump to Zelenskyy: "Don't tell us what we're gonna feel. You're in no position to dictate that. You're in no position to dictate what we're gonna feel. We're gonna feel very good and very strong. You're right now not in a very good position. You're gambling with World War 3."

Guy down the street has been obnoxiously warming up his car for the last 40 minutes. My first car was an 80s Ford and, at its worst, it took 20 minutes. My dude, you don’t need to do this. I promise you.

One of my coworkers just said they are praying for an ice storm and now I have to have a talk with my manager about not looking at people like I think they are idiots. Can’t help that I have an honest and open face.

Taking a time-out from worrying about prions, war, and collapse of civilization as we know it to watch Night of the Comet, one of my faves, which is inexplicably free on YouTube.

Monday Movie Mystery. What will it be…

Ah, yes. I see we have decided to “retire” our DEI policy. What a fun day to be in HR.

Just passed a guy in the lobby who was crying tears of joy while watching the abomination. I don’t even think he works here. I hate this timeline.

I hope the energy of The Pop-Tarts Bowl carries well into 2025. The fun, the chaos, the ritualistic sacrifice.

Sometimes, you just gotta rewatch River Monsters.

Ah, yes. We made it exactly an hour and a half before the yelling started. Happy Thanksgiving!

I could google how long the polio vaccine is effective OR I could wrap myself up like a burrito and watch Alien for a third night in a row…decisions.
