This is about financial control systems and audit, not about whether individuals made poor decisions. If the fiscal position for a single metro authority was off by *£1 billion*, how that came to happen needs close scrutiny + review of many local government bodies against those causal factors.

Were you aware that Katie Lam has German grandparents who came to the UK fleeing political persecution, & Dutch Jewish grandparents on the other side who fled the Nazis? Most of that family were killed in the Holocaust. Hard to find more egregious hypocrisy than in what she said.
