I miss my jays, before I got forced to move I had three species visit for peanuts, the regular blues like this one, Stellar's Jays, and Scrub jays. Though less visually stunning than the other two the scrubs were my favorite, bold little creatures, such big personalities, they're a lot of fun

How easily they've forgotten the absolute abominations we made from gelatin here, most of which were created while not under the pressure of rationing and a wartime economy 🤣

$2000 in "assets". Got a wrecked/project car out back with no engine? They use a 3rd party website that does not value cars in non-running condition, suddenly your junker that has a scrap value of maybe $200 is magically worth $1,500, you lose your benefits and you owe money back for "overpayment"

UK friends, don't buy any US products if you can avoid it. If you can convince your gov to entirely ban import of all of our products that would be even better. Will it hurt some of us at the lower rungs of society here? Yes, but the dumbest ones need a wakeup call, and I'd gladly suffer to see it.

Vaccinating chickens costs money, they think that the estimated 14 cents per bird would cut into their profit margins 🙄

I used to think most US folks making fun of UK food just did so because some of the popular dishes aren't very nice to look at, or because the names are weird, bubble and squeak or toad in the hole don't sound like food.
I now believe its just because we're stupid, because both are delightful.
