Between this and what RTD's done to Doctor Who, there's really something off lately with people who were once a property's champion coming back and making a complete mess.

It's one of the shows that makes me yearn for longer seasons with filler episodes, bc it had all these arcs but still found time for standalones where the crew is shrunk by invaders and such 😆 I really need to rewatch now that I'm a full Trekkie and see what parallels I missed.

Love all of that. Not only was the show split well-done, the very idea itself was amazingly clever and inventive. I think I only prefer S4 more because it's maybe the most cohesive the crew is, and I love when they're a happy family 😋
