I listened to this Big Finish audio last night. It feels like a delightful Who-styled spin on "The Lion in Winter", which has been one of my fave movies since I saw it in high school drama class! It's also like a lost Christmas story we never got for this Doctor! Props to @lisamcmullin.bsky.social!

I listened to this Big Finish audio last night. It feels like a delightful Who-styled spin on "The Lion in Winter", which has been one of my fave movies since I saw it in high school drama class! It's also like a lost Christmas story we never got for this Doctor! Props to @lisamcmullin.bsky.social!

Yesterday was pumpkin carving day at my house. My nephew picked out some BIG ones this year. This is fine by me since I love having a decently-sized canvas to work with. As shown by my finished one in the picture provided.

I don't often do this, but I wanted to share these pics of myself in an outfit I'm wearing to go to a wedding reception for a friend of my sister-in-law's. The dress code said "formal", so I just kinda threw this all together from the dress clothes I have, and I'm happy with how it looks. :)

"Vampire Weekend", Big Finish's debut story for the 13th Doctor, is out today! Written by the brilliant @verbatimfoley.bsky.social, this adventure with 13 and Yaz is a fast-paced caper with some fun callbacks, solid worldbuilding and slots in nicely between Series 12 and Flux! Can't wait for more!

I don't often post food pics on here, but I wanted to share the breakfast I made for myself today: I toasted a leftover sourdough bun in the skillet, then fried an egg and then reheated a leftover frozen chicken patty as well as added a little cheddar cheese. Very yummy and filling. :)

The last thing I did for the day was meet Sean Astin just as he was starting to wrap things up. Got him to sign my DVD of "The Color of Magic", which was surprised by. I also got him to sign a picture of Samwise Gamgee for my nephew, who loves that character a lot. I was pleased to meet him! (11/?)

I decided to take a breather from autographs for a bit to look at the merch booths. One of them had plushies of game characters. Most of them were Pokémon, unsurprisingly. But the one that surprised me the most was this one of Fawful! I just had to get him, because it was so unexpected! (9/?)

After the X-Men, I found Bryce Dallas Howard's booth! She was so delightful and I felt elated getting to talk to her and even get a selfie! I also told her how much I'm a fan of her dad and how I'd like to meet him someday because "Far and Away" is one of my favorite movies of his. (8/?)

Right next to Picardo's booth was Denis Lawson, who played Wedge Antilles! While he wasn't on my list, I did have some extra money to get a selfie and autograph from him since I couldn't pass up meeting one of the OG "Star Wars" actors! (4/?)

There's several I've experienced, but none will ever reach the pure and unadulterated joy I felt meeting Christopher Lloyd at my local comic con a couple of years ago. He signed my blu-ray of the "Back to the Future" trilogy! Such a great guy... :D
