I checked out your FilmFreeway bio. I like it. The Gospel According to Chad sounds fun. Enjoy Austin while you can. As a former Texan, I always felt a little better when I was in South Austin but North Austin is quickly creeping in. Lol.

You got my hamster running in my brain so I reached out to the BAFF and asked if they had already made announcements individually or something since their dates for doing so were apparently off a bit. Lol. This was their reply so I guess we're still in the running. Good luck!

All I see on FilmFreeway for BAFF is related to 2026. That happened last week. It just started showing 2026 and all 2025 info was removed. Maybe they just called it off this year. Lol

I know most follow that but I won a festival with this same script 2 yrs ago and the only notifications I got were acceptance, then finalist, then winner...despite it saying they would announce weekly. So, I don't know how it really works. Lol

Honestly, in the correspondence I got from them announcing the quarterfinalists it didn't offer a date for future announcements. It just said they would update the website in the "coming weeks" with further announcements. So I'm not sure they had a formal schedule except for the initial 17th date.

Had a couple of festivals push notifications up to January despite a planned October announcement. I won't name those festivals but hopefully that isn't the case here. I doubt it is but it's a crazy world right now in more ways than one.

Yep. I've checked their social media and website but crickets.

I haven't heard anything or seen any updates. I assume they will post semis this week.
