And herein lies the crux of that problem. Too many people are only aware of their own struggles. They lack the empathy required to actually care about another human being.
How do we teach people that it is okay to not judge another until they have walked in their shoes?

So long as I stay away from the news and negativity, I am feeling much better.

When these idiots realize that those same people are the ones doing all of the "undesirable work" they will regret their narrow-mindedness.
