Well, that will stop a lot of people from watching.

I was fortunate enough to get a copy of that set before it went out to print. I love it. Just listening to the music brings back. Great memories of watching the show when I was a little kid.

Oh yeah… As a corollary to birthdays, and because I have no family, I don’t celebrate holidays either. And I even hate having to wish someone a happy holiday/happy Thanksgiving/merry Christmas/happy new year.

They can go ahead and have their happy:merry whatever’s… Just leave me alone. Bah hum bug.

I’ve always hated being the center of attention, so I avoid my birthdays, and have her decades. Even my parents stopped wishing me happy birthday when I was in my early 20s. To me it’s just another day.

Now, at my age, with the 2 friends I have, they do not acknowledge my birthday either.

I have three versions of this recording. I have…

1. Charles Dutoit
49. Sir George Solti

I also have one that’s not on the list. It’s called “The Tomita Planets”. It’s an electronic rendition of The Planets. It’s still available on CD.

Of the three, I’m the most partial to number 49.

Heh. I actually had that exact one.

I watched this at least once a year.

In 2018 for the 50th anniversary, they were showing it for two weeks in the local IMAX theater and I think I saw it six times in IMAX those two weeks.

Yes, and it’s already ruining surfaced based observations in photography as well.

As usual, technology brings both good and bad.

I got a TCL, and it’s a huge TV for me, because I only had a 32 inch before. I mean, I could never afford these 75 to 120 inch televisions, no matter how much I would like them.

I thought it was cool that I figured out a way to have the sound playing through my HomePods w/o Apple TV going

Seems like Apple is losing a lot of people to the Meta Hellscape. I don’t trust Apple with everything, but I trust Facebook/Meta with nothing.

(And I don’t like liquid glass either)

That was the second movie I played last week when I got my new huge 4K television. The first one had to be 2001: A Space Odyssey.

Had to be. That’s just the law.

I went to Arrow‘s website and looked at a Excalibur, and even though it says 4K restoration, the discs only list a 1080 P Blu-ray. I’m hoping that’s a typo.

So glad I got this when I did when it was released. And it was such a pain as well finally getting my order, as they were going through some issues at the time with fulfilling orders.

Thankful that I’m sitting here alone in my house, and my holiday dinner was a small bag of potato chips?

I guess I’m thankful that in another 36 days we’ll be done with this stupid holiday season.

I actually submitted some Aurora photos into a photography contest once and they were rejected because there were - and I quote - dust spots all over the images.

I actually had to explain what stars were.

So are Fez’s. 😆

I still have this poster on my wall, and what’s makes it even cooler is that it’s signed by Robert Wise.

Just don’t say that one guy’s name three times, or even once.

He’s worse than that beetlej**ce person. 😆
