and how Mirissa has become a real hotspot for whale watching now, especially during the migratory season. Kandy and Anuradhapura still have that magical historical charm, but I’ve heard there are new cultural events and festivals that have started to draw even more visitors.

What a huge relief to hear that she is doing better, and the kids are safe. It's just so sad how many times survivors of abuse get punished or neglected, let alone when they are defending themselves. Well, it sounds like she's a lucky one to have you in her corner.

It's obvious that your friend's case wasn't about legal strategy; it was about getting someone to actually fight for her. Dropping the case so quickly just goes to show how unjust it was from the very beginning. How is your friend doing now?

Yes, my friend said that there are many changes happening there now. The corrupt rulers have been defeated and a new government has been established. As far as I know, a large number of scientists who worked in the US have returned to their home countries to work for free.

Hey, I have a friend in Sri Lanka. I traveled to Sri Lanka after the Covid pandemic. Yala, Anuradhapura, Jaffna, Trincomalee, Mullaitivu, Pulmuda, Nuwara Eliya, Kandy, etc. It was a great experience. I think it would be worth it if we could visit there again as a group.
