Every reporter there should decline to ask another question until she either answers that one or explicitly says that she will not answer it.

Large protests matter (that's why they're banned under authoritarian regimes). Still, ONE event, no matter how big, will not change things UNLESS it's the start of sustained public pressure. As the economy craters these will get bigger and moderate R's in Congress will feel real anti-Trump pressure.

I despise Musk but any sane person should oppose torching Teslas. It's a crime and it's dangerous.

Demonstrate. Speak out. Contact your reps. Vote. Civil disobedience.

I share the sentiment but I reflexively cringe when anyone states anything that "real Americans" believe (even though I do think the vast majority of us support Canada).

I don't like it when the other side says it, and still don't like when we say it. No one gets to say which Americans are "real."

No. We absolutely do not need violence. That would be a mistake of historic proportions.

Many on their side would be happy to to have an excuse for a violent crackdown to accelerate their move to complete authoritarianism. Remember, they have control of all the levers of governmental power.

Come on now. I think very highly of Rachel Maddow‬ but I imagine even she would say there are other legitimate voices on the left in media/analyis/opinon who we should be also be watching, listening to or reading.

Sometimes the cost-savings buying life-altering drugs online is the only way to afford them. Tragically, it's a values trade-off — two competing important ethical/economic priorities (supporting local businesses vs affordable medication).

Just one more way that the American healthcare system sucks.
