If you’re wondering why so many of us in healthcare feel more unsafe than ever, look at the avoidable tragedies at places like Emory. The same people who fanned the flames of baseless conspiracy theories now hold the matches — and they don’t give a damn who or what burns next.

I saw Hanif at an event in Ann Arbor this past spring, and hearing him talk about basketball, music, and humanity, among many other subjects, was just incredible. He even stayed after the venue closed to sign books outside for attendees.

Today was a great first clinical day for Michigan State’s Clinical Nurse Specialist master's program, specifically in the Trauma-Burn ICU. Looking forward to a semester of learning from an excellent CNS and unit staff!

From day one to ten years in—through countless IVs, Zofrans, triages, EKGs, and shifts across multiple ERs—I’m still very proud to be a nurse. Now more than ever, patients and healthcare workers deserve safety and dignity in every care setting. I’ll continue to advocate for both. #NursesWeek

Caught up on #ThePitt. As an ER charge nurse, I know that mass casualty events are a constant, avoidable reality. Hopefully the show illustrates to even one person the physical and emotional damage from gun violence and moves them to vote for a safer reality for all of us. @everytown.bsky.social
