Plus ça change? In the 1968 referendum on the voting system, the leaders of the three main parties met for the first ever leaders tv debate (14 years later the first election leaders debate). ‘Diffuse, scattered and did not hammer out any of the issues to a conclusion’ @irishtimes.bsky.social #ge24
