Sami is of Syrian heritage, and I believe he used to avoid going to Saudi Arabia due to "tensions" between Saudi Arabia and Syria. He did go to SA in 2023 and completed an Umrah. WWE did several "look how great Saudi Arabia is" video packages on it. I don't remember if he went in 2024.
