How one branch of my family ended up staying in the States. A Brunswicker w/ the Hessians, paroled after Saratoga, settled in Virginia then moved into North Carolina.

We had one branch derive from a Brunswicker, rolled up into the Hessian forces, surrendered at Saratoga... Afterwards, ended up in Virginia then North Carolina. #hatm

Nice! We had the World Tour of beers at a sports restaurant, The Winking Lizard. I believe it was around 120-130 for a year. Jacket, party, half way a T-shirt.

I used to enjoy the Great Lakes brewery Christmas Ale, then Thirsty Dog when the brewer went there... But draft to bottle never transitioned well on my end
