Album Covers I Have Loved, No. 5: “London Calling,” The Clash

Album Covers I Have Lived, No. 4: “1984,” Van Halen

Album Covers I Have Loved, No. 3: “British Steel,” Judas Priest

I wince a little bit every time I look at this cover. So, naturally, I own a t-shirt of it.

Why do I like this cover so much? Look at how HUGE that razor blade is! It takes up my man’s whole hand! Was it made for shaving giants?

Album Covers I Have Loved, No. 1: “Some Girls,” The Rolling Stones

The first time I saw this album was when my next door neighbor Howard and I were rifling through his older sister Nadine’s record collection.
To this day I associate the Stones with Nadine, the quintessential bad girl next door.
