We had to have a compounding pharmacy make a paste to put on our cats ears for her thyroid and heart meds that was absorbed through the skin. She also would not be pilled and would detect and avoid any hidden meds. It was very stressful on everyone involved.

Would be interested to know how you go from the digital process to getting it on the cover. I have some blanks but I mostly do digital myself and would be less scary to do a hybrid process.
