Well appearing 6 months old with fever without a source last week. Work up changed when I realized they were completely unvaccinated. Had to dig up old memories of workups from pre-pneumococcus/haemophilus era. Check Up to Date to confirm I was right. Wish blood work could have come from parents.

I got pneumovax, shingles, and second flu all on same day in April 2020. Figured the bump to my innate immune system might help me survive taking care of COVID patients every day.

It's always been that way. Read "Journal of the Plague Years" Sounds like it could have been written in 2020 instead of 1722. Was weird rereading it in 2020

MERS crossed over from bats through camels. No lab in the area. SARS crossed from bats through civets. No lab around. CCOV-HuPn-2018 crossed from dogs to people in Borneo. No labs there. HCoV-HuK1,NL63,OC43, 229E all look like they crossed from animals to people before we had virology labs.

It took me a few years to admit how much PTSD I had. Had 4 n95s I rotated every day while the others got uv irradiated on clothes line. Slept in basement for 6 months. Wore garbage bags. Saw a few colleagues nearly die. Cried when I got vaccine.

Happens to me all the time. The fact that yo and 我 sound so similar doesn't help.
