The Cone Nebula, Fox Fur Nebula and Christmas Tree Cluster, taken from my back yard a couple months ago. #astronomy

This is the Tadpole Nebula, a star-forming region in the constellation Auriga. The "tadpoles" are the pink structures at the 2 o-clock position. The "heads" of the tadpoles each have a young hot star lighting up the surrounding gas cloud. Taken from my back yard a couple weeks ago. #astronomy
