Sunday Dinner! Julia Child’s Jambon Braisée Gratinée Duxelles au Madère (Ham Braised in Madeira wine and Stuffed with Mushroom Duxelles). Served with Pommes Aligot (Gruyère cheese whipped potatoes) & buttered peas with caramelized shallots and vermouth. Mon Dieu, this was the best ham I’ve ever had!

Sunday dinner! Last BBQ of the summer season! Cedar-Planked Mahi-Mahi with Rice Pilaf and Green Beans Almandine! All served with my special Herbed Seafood White Wine Cream Sauce (it’s my own recipe! 😊) It all came out so delicious and someone loved his! 😋

Weekend at Talia’s! I made everyone Chicken Fricassée (Fricassée de Poulet À L’Ancienne) steamed French rice pilaf, and spinach sautéed with butter, garlic from Talia’s garden, and Vermouth! Came out sooooo good! Someone ate just about his whole bowl! Tres délicieux! 🇫🇷😋🇫🇷

Some devastating news…my beloved niece, Sarah, was taken from this world way too soon last Thursday night. 💔😭She was a bright, funny, talented young lady. To say this is tragic, wouldn’t even begin to describe it. Fly high and rest easy sweet niece, you will always be loved and remembered. ❤️

Sunday dinner! Valentine’s Day theme…Marry Me Chicken with baby spinach and Tuscan kale! Served over fettuccine! This was surprisingly out of this world…now I know why they call it “Marry Me” chicken! 😋🤤

Had an annoying respiratory illness, but now feeling MUCH better! So time to celebrate with Friday night pizza and movie night! Watching one of my favorite classic 80s movies of all time…Clue! Legendary actors in this film, such as the late-great Madeline Kahn in her iconic role as Mrs. White!

Retro weeknight dinner that brings me back to the 80s and 90s…Noodles Romanoff! Used to have this as a kid from one of those Hamburger Helper or Lipton meals or as a TV dinner. Made it from scratch today and it’s a delicious easy weeknight meal! Someone else liked this vintage recipe too!

Feeling much better and semi-out of quarantine. Decided to mix new traditions w/old traditions this year. Chinese feast of Wonton soup, eggrolls and fried wontons w/homemade duck sauce for dinner! More Chinese food tomorrow! And our old tradition of The Polar Express on Christmas Eve! Merry 🎄🎅🏻

Feeling much better and semi-out of quarantine. Decided to mix new traditions w/old traditions this year. Chinese feast of Wonton soup, eggrolls and fried wontons w/homemade duck sauce for dinner! More Chinese food tomorrow! And our old tradition of The Polar Express on Christmas Eve! Merry 🎄🎅🏻
