The GTSR staff at Huntingdon Stn and the Network Rail staff at York ROC did a brilliant job on Saturday.
They also contacted BTP & East Of England Ambulance Service. They blocked the line, preventing other trains from moving on the ECML. An off duty London Underground driver got his HiVi out and helped with the evacuation at Huntingdon.

We saw the regulator on the Peterborough desk at Network Rail's ROC at York after receiving the call from 1Y96's driver reset the signalling to allow the train to stop at Huntingdon, call the company that run the station GTSR, to get their staff to evacuate the station BEFORE 1Y96s arrival
