Except that the biggest impact these cuts will have is not on patients today, it’s on patients 10 or 20 years from now. The moves that institutions and researchers will have to make to accommodate these changes will fundamentally alter research capacity and quality.

More support for Bayesian AUC. At some point we will accept that troughs are just not good enough, right?
