How does strengthening the welfare state reduce housing costs? How does it reduce energy costs?

Ok have fun filling out your schedule without the ACC. Surely the other power conferences will give ND what they want...

He's a hater. The internet has plenty of those. Just read the comments, delighted to jump in and be a hater too. This "review" isn't criticism, and being a hater will never be criminalized, not on this internet. Truth is, Stranger Things is just okay. A 6/10. That take is more likely to be banned.

Picking apart plot holes is not criticism. Making tired jokes about the ages/appearances of actors is not criticism. A long aside about how no one in Indiana could possibly like Kate Bush is not criticism. Saying "fuck Noah Schnapp", likely because he's an outspoken Zionist, is not criticism.

He's lamenting the decline of criticism, but still leans into the new dynamic where people either pick the camp that thinks "show is great!" or "show sucks!". Fan culture and hater culture are 2 sides of the same coin. He has some valid criticism, but this could've been a Reddit hater post.

How many times are you gonna strike gold on FCS coaches? This hire is by a new AD (the old one retired), for what it's worth.

I count 6 that lived at the same time?

Average age of these "moderates" is 70.

Gotta bring back Star Magic Jackson Jr. as well.

Yes the Republicans have ruined everything....but what are Democrats doing about it????

This guy would still get his ass kicked on the NYC subway.

Could it be that low propensity voters didn't vote? That these Latinos didn't abandon Trump, they simply just didn't show up? Local NJ elections in my heavily-GOP town look essentially identical to the past few years, no blue shift at all. It's a very homogenous town with high-turnout each election.

"Oh an interesting article"
*hits paywall*
"Never mind!"

Perhaps they believe they've been left behind by Democrats because the people on their radio and television keep telling them that???
October 22, 2025 at 3:33 PM
Democrats lost rural areas because we lost the attention of rural voters. Rush et al. told them that to blame Democrats for their problems, and with the fall of local news, there was no one to dispute this claim. Liberals don't like it, but you win these people back by gaining their attention.
October 22, 2025 at 3:29 PM
Guess I'm just not convinced that Democrats lost rural areas because NAFTA, and that "organizing" is the solution. I just couldn't shake my thought that Rush Limbaugh et al. are primarily responsible for this shift; Mettler even acknowledges this angle wasn't considered due to lack of data.

Name a policy where the GOP and Trump are functionally misaligned.
October 21, 2025 at 8:55 PM
Not saying I disagree with the conclusion but I guess I’m still hung up on the idea that voters in purple districts want moderate candidates all while said voters happily vote for the least moderate, most partisan presidential candidate in our lifetime. What makes someone vote vanilla Dem and Trump?
October 21, 2025 at 12:22 PM
Also Curt is older than Frank Jr. What's up with that?
October 15, 2025 at 2:53 PM
He was three MONTHS old!

Get rid of the blue lines in the median next then.

I think it's a good idea to wait for a finished script, but movies are struggling because I'd much rather wait for the Marvel movie to come out on Disney Plus. I can't be alone on this one.

Reddit is kind of a hybrid, but it is primarily text-based.
