I teach fifth grade in Portland, OR. Have 2 trans students. We have trans teachers. Trans staff. Trans parents. So many families with trans kids move to this town and feel free for the first time. We even changed a Norse myth into a pro-trans story for their class play. Love this city. 🙏❤️🏳️‍⚧️

The combination of mostly-80's tunes, comedic lyrics, SEL content, and this classic story was finally ready to go. I swear a rainbow arced over the school that morning as I presented it to the class. We then made posters for auditions to be held on Friday, March 13, 2020..........
