It’s hilarious to me that some people are so concerned about Mamdani given the track record of Mayors of New York City becoming nothing more than…Mayor of New York City:

Edward I. Koch
David N. Dinkins
Rudolph W. Giuliani
Michael R. Bloomberg
Bill de Blasio
Eric L. Adams

6 games below .500 and 19 games out. The season has mercifully been put to rest. I will give this Cardinal team one thing, they played all 9 innings. But what a terrible season. I’m glad it’s over with.

James Gunn, man. I haven't seen a frame of the new Superman movie beyond what's in the trailers, but how can you not want to root for this dude. www.rollingstone.com/tv-movies/tv...

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

Huge congratulations to Amy Gunn, who along with her partner Erica Slater at Gunn|Slater and Liz Lenivy secured a $48.1 million jury verdict in St. Louis County yesterday (including $20 million in punitive damages). In 7 weeks, Gunn|Slater has secured over $48.5 million in jury verdicts!

May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the hollow of his hand.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

Normally, I would be extremely excited about the beginning of Spring Training...usually when baseball starts, I anticipate and hope that we can win again...not this year. The Cards have done nothing to improve and don't seem to have a plan. I hope I'm wrong, but I think its going to be another bust

I've flown into DCA more times than I can count. It's not an easy airport to land on and I have had some rough take off and landings. It can also offer some of the most spectacular views of the DC from the air. My heart goes out to all the victims and their families.

I've been reading "Man's Search for Meaning" by Viktor Frankl and I immediately thought of Jimmy Carter. He lived a life of meaning...incredibly, that meaning was mostly achieved outside of his Presidency.

Just an FYI folks, Fed Ex Gound in St. Louis is in a full blown operational melt down. Even if you get those emails on delivery time, I wouldn't believe them until the package shows up. Fed Ex Express still seems to be ok, Fed Ex Ground is a total disaster.

It hasn’t been an easy year, but as Marcus Tullius Cicero said “Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues, but the parent of all others.” and I am deeply grateful for all of you. Happy Thanksgiving!

Marcus Tullius Cicero said “Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues, but the parent of all others.” So today, let me express my gratitude for all who served, continue to serve and will in the future serve. May you be kept safe and know the thanks of a grateful nation.
