In theory this will work. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Compost...
There will be a lot of setup involved but if you have the materials to pull it off it could work quite well.

It's not hard to do these things city adjacent. I am in residential the same situation but currently we are in town and will eventually be about 15 minutes away at most. Do what you can and don't hold yourself to what other people expect of "homesteading". #nerdypeopleprepping

I hope you liked where you put those blackberries because they may be there forever and don't worry they will only try to spread everywhere they touch. lol #NerdyPeoplePrepping

This is a great way to fill a garden bed without having to spend a ton on good topsoil. We did this for nearly 30 raised beds and the topsoil goes so much further when you don't have to fill it 18-24 inches deep. #NerdyPeoplePrepping

You will be surprised at the number of those noxious weeds that supposedly have medicinal use. The biggest problem you may encounter identifying them is that you must let them get large enough to do so. Your neighbors and local ordinances may not appreciate this very much. lol #NerdyPeoplePrepping

I especially liked the young couple in an earlier season that just let their pigs destroy everything because they thought it would be cruel to put them in pens. #NerdyPeoplePrepping

Couldn't agree with you more. Nothing more fun then wondering where common sense went to with some of the people that need help on Homestead Rescue. #NerdyPeoplePrepping

Man, that's awesome. I wish our current homestead were able to produce that much lumber in a year. #NerdyPeoplePrepping

I could have been doing both if not for the fact that I started developing a bee allergy when we got the bees. Unfortunately, the bees had to go because my reactions to stings kept getting progressively worse but it was fascinating to have the experience while I could. #NerdyPeoplePrepping
