Teachers are absolutely powerless and we wonder why education is failing and why teachers are quitting. Education is what made America great. Now it is seen as brain washing. Teaching the kids to be "woke," which they consider bad.

Well, I hope you at least understand the issues that those in the education field face. They can't do anything. In some places you can get fired over teaching the "wrong" books. People think they are teaching them boys can be girls and have a litter box.

The power I have is to yell at the kids to come back and stack their trays. That's it. My hands are tied.

But I'm not allowed to be tough with the kids. They complain to their parents and I get fired. That's why teachers are having such a hard time. They are at the mercy of the kid's parents. Schools are terrified to punish kids because of the repercussions. You're asking me to take care of parents...

A lot of our kid's parents are well off. Business owners, athletes, even a Hollywood screen writer. A lot of them are just spoiled.

There isn't a consequence that affects them, that we can do as kitchen staff. Do you have any suggestions?
Like I said, most of the kids do it correctly. Some fix them. Some don't care. It doesn't change, regardless of what we do. I think it comes down to what goes on at home.

I guess all I can do is try to raise MY kids correctly. I think we are doing well...
